The appearance of everything was altered; there seemed to be, as it were, a calm, sweet, cast, or appearance of divine glory, in almost everything.
God’s excellency, his wisdom, his purity and love, seemed to appear in every thing;
in the sun, moon, and stars; in the clouds and blue sky; in the grass, flowers, trees; in the water, and all nature; which used greatly to fix my mind.
I often used to sit and view the moon for a long time; and in the day, spent much time in viewing the clouds and sky, to behold the sweet glory of God in these things:
In the meantime, singing forth, with a low voice, my contemplations of the Creator and Redeemer. . .” -

I came across your blog as I was search on the name of George D. Watson.
I agree with these words of Jonathan Edwards. I've been led to read Psalm 147 and the other last Psalms. David praises God in Creation and even God Himself talks about His might and excellence in the last chapters of the book of Job, referring to different aspects of nature.
No wonder that the truth of God creating all things is so much under fire and men is trying to replace it with the evolution theory.
Psalm 2:2-3
"2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us."
But God is unchanging, incorruptible, unmolestable, His truth stands (Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.)
If man would only believe that and give glory to God.
Thanks for the post.
Wim.
