..."and a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the way of holiness; evil minded people shall not travel on it, but it shall be for those wayfarers who are traveling toward God. (Isaiah 35:8, adapted)

We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise
and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how
nature - trees, flowers, grass - grows in silence; see the
stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence...
We need silence to be able to touch souls.

Love this quote!
I am always amazed how profound the silence is on moonlit nights when the air is still and everything is quiet. Wonderful times to be alone with God!
I always appreciate what you share! Grace to you! and Happy Thanksgiving.
yes, i love it outdoors in the silence. i live on a busy street and today there is no one around becauses of the holiday. eerily and gracefully quiet.
God bless you!
