..."and a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the way of holiness; evil minded people shall not travel on it, but it shall be for those wayfarers who are traveling toward God. (Isaiah 35:8, adapted)

Let the Spiritual Watchers See That In Him Is Victory

Be triumphant, be triumphant,
Let the spiritual watchers see
That thy God doth strengthen thee,
That in him is victory.
--Amy Carmichael

"His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold
wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and
authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal
purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.
--Ephesians 3:10-11 (NIV)

Hi Pen,

This is my first visit to your blog. Your photo reveals the beauty that is Scotland.

I'm not familiar with Amy Carmichael, but I will be reflecting on these words:
"Be triumphant, be triumphant,
Let the spiritual watchers see
That thy God doth strengthen thee,
That in him is victory.
"

Blessings and peace.

Scotland is surely a stunner! there is no doubt about that!

....and Amy Carmichael is one of my favorites...she was a single
woman who was a missionary to India during the last century, her biography, "A Chance to Die" is a classic, and the title comes from this quote : "Missionary life is, simply, a chance to die"
